Vic Feldman Award

Vic Feldman Award is named after one of our life members. Vic was a strong believer in building the club from within. As the 70’s morphed into the 80’s the junior ranks had swelled to the point that some promising junior players were being found. 

Vic advocated for their selection in the senior ranks and dropped himself from A-grade to Captain/Coach a senior side with a good proportion of juniors in it. The Club supported Vic’s efforts and created an award in Vic’s name for the best junior in senior ranks. 

While Vic was at the Club he often paid for the award himself and presented it at the senior presentation night – often with words of encouragement and support to the recipient and to the other junior players showing promise.
